Elżbieta Korolczuk
sociologist, commentator and activist

Polish sociologist, activist, commentator and professor at the University of Warsaw. Her research focuses on civic society, social movements and right-wing populism, with particular emphasis on the so-called “war on gender”. She holds academic positions at the University of Warsaw and Södertörn University in Stockholm. She is the author of two monographs, co-author of five edited volumes, and has published over 60 scholarly articles. Together with Agnieszka Graff, she received the Bronisław Malinowski Award for outstanding achievement in the social sciences from the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America for their book Anti-Gender Politics in the Populist Moment (Routledge, 2022).
